Lifestart, a registered charity, provides early childhood intervention and school aged services to children with additional needs, including Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, global developmental delay and rare genetic disorders. Lifestart provides a family centred approach to meeting the needs of children living with disability and their families.  It is based on the concept of partnership with children, families and carers to assist and empower them to participate meaningfully and inclusively in our community.

Lifestart works with FaHCSIA on Helping Children with Autism package.

Lifestart is a listed service provider for the Early Intervention Service Provider Panel, for the Helping Children with Autism package, funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Families, Housing, learning Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA).

Lifestart runs the course More Than Words™ The Hanen Program®, which is a family-focussed intervention program for children with Austism Spectrum Disorder. Lifestart will be running this program across centres in Term 2, so contact your local centre for more information.
