Lifestart, a registered charity, provides early childhood intervention and school aged services to children with additional needs, including Down syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, global developmental delay and rare genetic disorders. Lifestart provides a family centred approach to meeting the needs of children living with disability and their families.  It is based on the concept of partnership with children, families and carers to assist and empower them to participate meaningfully and inclusively in our community.

Lifestart welcomes new CEO

New Lifestart Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Becker took up the reins on Monday 11th January. Sue brings a wealth of experience to Lifestart, including twenty one years as General Manager of Windgap Foundation Limited, an organisation providing early intervention, employment, accommodation and day program services for people living with intellectual or multiple disabilites across the eastern Sydney region. We all welcome Sue and look forward to a great 2010!

Lifestart welcomes all families and supporters to 2010

All the staff at Lifestart send a big welcome to 2010 to all our families and supporters and trust you had (or are continuing to have!) a happy and enjoyable holiday season. A few important dates to remember for 2010 are

 Wednesday 27th January: branches re-open

Monday 1st February: programs begin

Sunday 28th March: Kayak for Kids
