Lifestart’s Northern Beaches Annual Charity Golf, Dinner & Auction will be held on Thursday June 5, 2008, at the Monash Country Club.

High in the hills above Narrabeen on the beautiful northern beaches, the magnificent Monash Golf course is the perfect setting for our annual charity golf day. Imagine yourself, friends and business colleagues enjoying the fresh air, unique bushland and ocean views while playing a round of golf.

Finish off the day relaxing with a refreshing drink at the Monash Country Club Dining Room, followed by a two course dinner, drinks, charity auction and entertainment throughout the evening.

Price includes golf on the prestigious Monash Golf Course, on course light lunch, drinks vouchers, golf competitions and prizes. Winners will be announced at 5pm presentation.

Dinner & Charity Auction:
Pre-dinner drinks and canapes from 6pm and two course dinner and drinks from 7pm at the Monash Country Club Dining Room.

Special guest MC for the evening will be Jon Harker, with Erik Weideman from 1927 in a special unplugged gig. Sandro Petrini from Ray White Mosman/Neutral Bay will conduct silent and live auctions and raffles will be held during the evening.

For all you mad keen golfers and those who love a social round, Lifestart is holding it’s first golf day for 2008 at Barnwell Park Golf Club in Five Dock. This is a 9 hole competition in a casual atmosphere and will be held on Sunday 9th March.

The Lifestart Family Fun Day

Celebrating International Day of People with a Disability, Lifestart’s Family Fun Day is designed for all types of families! Kids will love the ride on trains, jumping castles and craft, Dad will enjoy the vintage car club displays - Minis and Austins - and Mum can browse the craft and market stalls (or she might prefer the cars too). The whole family can visit the Police information booth and have their finger prints taken then find out more about Lifestart and how we help special kids with Autism, Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. Don’t forget to buy your raffle tickets for some great prizes and of course there will be a sausage sizzle and coffee van.

There’s lots more to see, do and eat so join in the fun on Sunday 2nd December and help celebrate International Day of People with a Disability.
