Lifestart is running a transition to school group in the October school holidays, aiming to develop the child’s confidence and skills in group time, transitions, attention and listening, fine motor and self-care skills.

Structure of the group

3x 2 hour face to face group sessions at our Turramurra office from 10am – 12pm:

• Tuesday October 8th
• Wednesday October 9th
• Thursday October 10th

1x online parent/carer webinar (date to be confirmed)

The parent/carer webinar aims to develop the parent’s understanding of how to best prepare and support their child for this transition. The group will be facilitated by an Occupational Therapist and/or a Speech Pathologist. Facilitator numbers will depend on how many participants register.

Optional: Individual follow up session with a group facilitator (billed separately). An opportunity to reflect on the group and consider next steps moving forward.
