DESCRIPTION:Lifestart is celebrating International Day of People with Disability with a fantastic community event! \nThere will be a jumping castle\, face painting\, fairy floss\, helium balloons\, sausage sizzle\, a quiet sensory space and a performance from some talented Lifestart kids. Westfield Burwood offers 2 hours free parking. There is also a paid parking station on George Street which is a 5 minute walk from the park. \nBy public transport\nBurwood train station is a 5 minute walk from the park. There are also bus stops along Burwood road. \nPreparing your child:\nIf you would like to help your child prepare and know what to expect from the event you can talk to them in advance about the activities that will be happening on the day. Below you will find some visuals to support their understanding. There will be a quiet sensory area to go to if you or your child is feeling overwhelmed or over-stimulated. Lifestart allied health staff will be at the event to support you and your child if you need it.
