Lifestart is offering a free 2 part workshop for families. Looking Into My World and Talking My Language will provide you with information on communication development and how you can encourage your child to interact and learn new ways to communicate in everyday activities. You will be able to ask questions and learn specific strategies you can try with your child at home.
Topics covered include:
- What is communication?
- Language skill development
- Creating opportunities to communicate
- Top 5 communication strategies
- Setting goals for your child
