Social Skills for Tweens
September 22 @ 7:30 pm - 8:15 pm
The transition period from childhood to adolescence (”the tweens”) is critical for friendships. As children become teenagers, their peers begin to have a stronger influence on their decision making.
As children transition to high school, they will develop new connections and friendship circles. It is important for tweens to have the skills and confidence to understand how positive friendships work and how to maintain these relationships.
Join a Lifestart clinician in our Teen Life: Transitions and Connections series to discuss tips and strategies that support young people in developing and maintaining positive friendships with a focus on mutual interests and conversational skills.
