Are you currently engaged in or waiting for Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services for your child?
Lifestart is offering a free 2 part workshop for families. Understanding Sensory Processing: My Senses and Me is a practical workshop that will provide you with information on sensory processing and how it can impact on your child’s ability to interact and learn new things. You will have support to understand what you can do to support your child at home and be able to ask questions about your child’s current sensory needs.
Topics covered include:
- What is sensory processing?
- Understanding the senses and sensory regulation
- Strategies to support your child’s sensory needs
- Creating your own plan to use at home.
