We’re looking for graduate Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists who are keen to kickstart their career in a supportive team culture where they can really make a difference.
As a Lifestart Graduate you are a permanent employee and will be included in our dedicated Graduate Development Program during your first year with us. This supportive, engaging program includes:
Ongoing training and tailored learning & development programs for your chosen discipline
Clinical supervision and ongoing support from senior clinicians with advanced clinical skills and experience working with complex children and family situations.
Real responsibility and hands-on projects with the opportunity to grow and develop your leadership abilities
The content of the program is driven by the participating early years clinicians, so you get the information you need, when you need it.
This program is flexible and person-centred which is true to how Lifestart provides support more broadly.
What Is the Difference About Our Program?
- We cover topics that are outside of the usual university curriculums but are vital in working with families and managing yourself as a clinician. For example, balancing your caseload with goals and family priorities, difficult conversations, coach approach.
- The learning opportunities are delivered flexibly, responsive to the needs and requests of the group.
- We work under a key worker approach, well-regarded as best practice in the industry.
- You will learn alongside clinicians in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Behaviour Support which gives opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills outside of your own discipline.
