What Do We Offer

We offer Positive Behaviour Support for children and young people living with disability, including developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans. Our staff include specialist Behaviour Support Clinicians and other professionals experienced in implementing general behaviour support practices.
We work with children, young people and their family and carers to:
Identify and understand the behaviours of concern that may be impacting on a child or young person’s participation in daily routines and activities
Develop an individualised plan to support learning new skills and ways to behave when joining in activities with family and friends
Positive Behaviour Support is a collaborative approach, working with children, young people, and their families and carers to understand behaviour, increase participation and develop skills in the everyday places where they live, learn, and play.
We also equip the people in a child or young person’s life – family, carers, teachers and other professionals – with practical strategies so that everyone can support your child in the same way.
While Lifestart does not use restrictive practices, if another provider is considering one, we work closely with them and with your family to make sure it is safe, used only when absolutely necessary, follows all NDIS requirements, and has a clear plan to reduce and remove it over time.
Do We Provide Services in Your Area?
We provide face-to-face behaviour support in the Sydney metropolitan area including–Western Sydney, Northern Sydney, Eastern Sydney, Southern Sydney, the Inner West and parts of South Western Sydney.
