Are You a Student Looking for Experience with a Purpose-driven Team?
Lifestart has opportunities for students studying Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, who have any interest in working with children and young people using a person centred approach. We are seeking applications from final year students to complete their final year clinical placement within a Lifestart team.
What Can I Expect From a Placement at Lifestart?
Students can expect to be part of a team of professionals from a range of practice backgrounds and specific discipline areas.
Students will:
Work collaboratively with supervisors to build their understanding and competence supporting children and young people with a range of needs
Access a variety of learning and development opportunities and resources to support their learning
Have opportunities to apply their theoretical knowledge in flexible and individualised ways, especially when clients may have complex needs
Be supported to work with clients in a variety of places such as homes, schools and online.
