Throughout May and June of this year, we are running a series of free workshops for families who are currently engaged in or waiting for Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services on the topics of sensory processing and communication.

Sensory Processing: My Senses and Me is a practical two-part workshop that will provide you with information on sensory processing and how it can impact on your child’s ability to interact and learn new things. Topic covered include an introduction to sensory processing, understanding the senses and sensory regulation, strategies to support your child’s sensory needs, and creating your own plan to use at home.

Looking Into My World and Talking My Language is designed to provide parents and carers with information on communication development and how you can encourage your child to interact and lean new ways to communicate in everyday activities. Topics covered include an introduction to communication, language skill development, creating opportunities to communicate, communication strategies and setting goals for your child.

Spaces are limited so visit our Events Page to find a workshop in your area and register your interest.
