Role Purpose:

We are seeking a Client Engagement Officer (CEO) to join our Client Intake and Engagement team. The CEO is the first point of contact for people enquiring about Lifestart’s services and plays a key role engaging with both potential and current clients. The CEO provides transparent and consistent information, creating an excellent customer experiences as people consider, request and purchase supports from Lifestart.

 

Key Selection Criteria:

Qualifications/ Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in community services, allied health or related discipline.
  • Experience in the disability sector and knowledge of the NDIS will be well regarded

Essential knowledge / skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work with children and young people with disabilities, their families and carers
  • Understands and applies knowledge of a range of individual choices, goals and aspirations
  • In-depth understanding of the philosophy of human rights based approaches and broad knowledge of the disability sector
  • Flexible and adaptable communication techniques that engender positive, engaging relationships and meet required outcomes
  • Demonstrates ability to manage sensitive enquiries with tact and discretion and demonstrates confidentiality and awareness of diversity
  • Demonstrated excellent written and spoken communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Uses thorough and advanced professional competence to support customers with problem solving and decision making about their needs and expectations

Essential Criteria

  • Valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) Clearance
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) Clearance
  • Fully vaccinated for the Covid-19 Virus or accepted medical exemption certificate
  • Current driver’s licence and use of own car

Lifestart has a COVID-19 vaccination policy that has identified this role as requiring a full COVID-19 vaccination. Medical exemptions with the NSW government contraindication form will be considered, subject to a satisfactory risk assessment.

Reporting, Documentation &
Administration:
Carry out reporting, documentation and administration tasks.

Maintain required documentation on Lifestart’s Client Record Management system.

Comply with organisational requirements for the accurate and timely completion of documentation.
