Employment: Permanent, Part Time (10am to 3pm)

Role Purpose:

Provide friendly and efficient front desk support and office assistance for the Lifestart Sydney Olympic Park office.
Create excellent customer experiences as the first contact for the team.

Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in administrative process.
  • Excellent data management skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.

Essential Criteria

  • Valid Working with Children’s Check Clearance (WWC).
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS WC).
  • Fully vaccinated for the Covid-19 Virus or accepted medical exemption certificate
  • Successful pre-employment police check.
  • Current driver’s licence and use of own car.

  • Experience working in the disability sector

Administrative SupportPrimarily responsible for answering all incoming calls.

Check and transcribe answering machine messages.

Management and distribution of incoming emails.

Collecting / distributing all incoming mail and ensuring daily mail is taken to post office.

Carry out all administrative clerical duties as required.

Support organisational projects and strategic directions e.g. student placement programs.
Communication and AccountabilityCommunicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Understand relevant compliance legislation, quality standards and Lifestart policies and procedures.

Positively represent Lifestart in all opportunities, role modelling the Code of Conduct and actively supporting the mission, vision and values.


General ResponsibilitiesOversee courier deliveries and collections.

Order stationery and consumables in a timely manner.

Seek quotations, prepare and place orders for services, equipment and supplies.

Oversee bookings and calendars for meetings, including parking allocations.

Enter, update and report information in data management systems as required.

Other duties as required.
