Therapy & behaviour support

Lifestart supports children and young people with disability or developmental concern, as well as their families and communities, to reach their full potential through tailored therapy and behaviour support.

We partner with parents and families, recognising the importance of their perspective and the intimate experience and understanding they have of their child. Our expert team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists and Behaviour Support Practitioners assist the family’s journey by prioritising what’s important to them and working together to identify and achieve meaningful goals.

We offer support under the following NDIS support categories

Improved Daily Living Skills

  • Therapy Supports (including Assistive Technology)
  • Early Childhood Supports
  • Online group programs
  • Training for parents/carers

Improved Relationships

  • Specialist behavioural intervention support
  • Behaviour management plan including training in behaviour management strategies

Online supports available Australia wide. Face to face supports are available in many areas across Sydney.

We celebrate the uniqueness of each child and their family, and focus therapy on a child’s individual strengths and interests. We believe that therapy works best when undertaken in a child’s natural environment alongside the people they share that environment with.
This is why, as well as the opportunity to use our on-site facilities, we work with children in their homes, schools and communities.

We support children and young people to achieve their goals to communicate with the people in their life, develop skills to do everyday things, develop social skills and make friends, manage emotions and support positive behaviour and move independently and be mobile.

To help us match you with the right available support, we need you to answer a few questions by filling out the simple web enquiry below. One of our Customer Experience Specialists will match these answers against current availabilities and be in touch.
