Lifestart congratulates Steggles Sydney Roosters Charity Nest on raising $4 million since 2010 and is proud to have been involved since the start of the Charity Nest.
It is an amazing milestone and a great tribute to all involved – the Steggles team, the Sydney Roosters, the players, coaching and support staff, management and everyone who assists the Roosters to raise funds for Lifestart and the other charities who are part of the Charity Nest.
The Charity Nest has enabled Lifestart to provide additional services and programs, including playgroups for dads, sibling groups, school age services peer support and family education programs. This support has impacted significantly on the lives of thousands of the children and young people who Lifestart supports. It has also helped us to get the message out about the value of including these children and young people in all aspects of our everyday lives.
It is not just about the wonderful donations we receive from the Charity Nest – it is also about being a member of a great partnership and the Charity Nest community. The Charity Nest is a terrific example to many in our community of how we can work together to achieve positive outcomes for those we support.
Lifestart says a huge thank to the Steggles Sydney Roosters Charity Nest for all you have done over the past ten years to help us support children and young people to lead more inclusive lives in our community.
