Transitioning into high school and adolescence brings with it a new set of experiences and challenges for young people living with a disability. Families often tell us that they would like to know more about how they can support their young person to have the skills and confidence to navigate these new experiences safely and positively.

Lifestart is offering a free interactive webinar series Teen Life: Transitions and Connections to provide parents and carers with practical information about this life stage.

Launching on Tuesday 8 September as part of National Child Protection Week, the five webinars will run every Tuesday evening from 7.30pm except during the NSW school holidays.

The webinars will be presented by Lifestart staff and guest speakers. Topics include:

• Keeping Safe Online
• Navigating Relationships and Consent
• Social Skills for Tweens
• Let’s Talk About Puberty
• Being Organised at High School.

Join the webinars live for an opportunity to ask questions or listen to a recording later.  To register your interest and receive the webinar link please go to Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.com.au/o/jo-ubilla-30890318123
