Lifestart has been trialing new models of collaborative supports in schools. Our Lifestart Specialised Supports team uses a Whole School Approach to support both children and teachers to promote inclusion and achieve positive outcomes in school. It involves whole school and classroom approaches, team teaching, small group supports, delivering professional development to teachers and School Learning Support Officers and collaborative working within classrooms and across schools as a whole.
We spoke to some of the staff members at Tallowood School about what the whole school approach has meant for them and what the results have been like for students.
