We hope everyone is safe and well. From 11 October 2021, restrictions in the Greater Sydney area are being gradually lifted in accordance with the NSW RoadMap. Lifestart is a COVID-safe organisation and the health and safety of all our clients, staff and other visitors is our priority. We understand that you will have questions about how Lifestart will be operating as restrictions gradually ease.

How will Lifestart be providing services as restrictions ease?

As children under 12 years cannot currently be vaccinated, we will continue to provide most supports online. This is to minimise the risk to all clients. Until the end of the year this means that face to face visits (including at homes, early education centres, schools and Lifestart offices) will only be provided under special circumstances. Please discuss any urgent matters that may require a face to face visit with your Lifestart staff member.

How is Lifestart staying COVID-safe?

Lifestart has a COVID-safe plan, is listening to all health advice and following the required protocols. This includes mask-wearing, maintaining physical distancing and completing a checklist for all in-person visits.

Our priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of all our clients and their families. We have therefore mandated that all Lifestart staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 from January 2022.

Where can I find further information about the rules in NSW and the Roadmap?

Further information is available on the NSW Government website.

Where can I find out more about vaccination for my young person or family?

Your Lifestart worker can support you to find out how to access vaccination for young person (over the age of 12 years). Please contact them directly for more information.

When will all services at Lifestart return to normal?

We are all learning to live with the pandemic. COVID-19 has changed the way we work with you now and into the future. What has not changed is our commitment to delivering quality services and positive outcomes for child, young person and family. We will keep you informed about Lifestart services over the coming months.
