Join us for Lifestart’s FREE online ‘let’s talk about communication’ workshop. Facilitated by Lifestart Senior Speech Pathologist Cindy Liew, the workshop will run on Thursday 22nd October at 9:30am.

This workshop provides practical, everyday strategies to help parents and carers build their child’s communication skills during daily routines and play. Designed for carers of young children from 6 months to 5 years old, this free workshop will cover:

• What communication is and how it develops
• Why everyday routines are the best place to build communication skills
• Practical strategies to encourage communication during play and daily activities
• Supporting your child’s understanding using visuals and simple language
• Creating meaningful back-and-forth interactions with your child
• Tips that can be easily woven into mealtimes, bath time, book sharing, play and other family routines.

Families will also receive a bonus Home Plan Tool to help embed strategies into everyday life. 

Parents and carers will gain a better understanding of how communication develops, specifically in relation to young children. Attendees of this workshop will learn practical, evidence-informed strategies that can be used to support their child’s communication and language skills.
