In light of recent developments and the latest advice from the Federal Government Department of Health, Lifestart has made a number of decisions to prioritise the health and safety of our staff, our clients and their parents/carers.
From tomorrow, 17 March 2020 and until further notice, Lifestart staff will not deliver face to face services to our clients and parents/carers. We are also cancelling face to face events and meetings.
This precautionary measure has been taken in light of the developing COVID-19 situation. The wellbeing of our staff, our clients and their parents/carers is our primary concern. We are also acting with the health and safety of the broader community in mind.
We will contact all our clients and their parents/carers as soon as possible to advise them of the decision and to offer online supports which may include via videoconferencing, phone or email.
Lifestart is already skilled and experienced at delivering online services. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we work to expand our capacity for more staff to deliver supports online.
