Lifestart’s occupational therapists from across our service streams recently came together for a professional learning and development day.
The theme of the day was “Skilling it: Active learning for skilled OTs.” The day involved opportunities to learn across a range of topics, including: play and engagement, coaching and communication, assistive technology, working in schools, online supports and positive behaviour management.
Our OTs reported that it was really valuable in strengthening their skills in supporting children and young people living with disability.
